Life Interventions, Incorporated has implemented a robust program called Aim High that will reduce the crime rate involving young adults in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, and also help formerly incarcerated young adults get back on track.

 

The Aim High Program provides services associated with basic life-skills development for at-risk, underserved young adults to prepare and afford them the opportunity to enjoy productive lives after entering adulthood. It will include holistic activities that meet the mental, physical, and spiritual needs of the young men and women enrolled in the program.  People who successfully enter and complete the program will demonstrate manners, effective communication skills, positive conflict resolution, and confidence in their abilities to become marketable.  They will also locate job opportunities, write resumes, participate in job interviews, attain employment, get a place to live, and support themselves and their families.

 

New clients will enroll in our customized classroom training services on a quarterly basis.  The benefits derived from completing the Aim High Program will have a positive ripple effect that will reverberate throughout Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
